1. They increase the yields of the farmers much more as compared to the traditional seeds.
For Ex: Traditional Seeds Production: 1300KG per hectare
Modern Farming Production: 3900KG per hectare
Demerit:
1. They decrease the fertility of soil
2. They decrease the water table.
3. They require a lot of investment
4. it is hard to practice.
