History is the study of past. the study of past is important to understand the present. The present cannot be understood without understanding the past. The history of India is influenced by its geography. The first civilization emerged in the fertile valley of river Indus. The word history comes from the Greek word 'historia' which means 'learning or knowing by enquiry'. The word 'story'is hidden in it.. everything is evolving time to time...and history also evolved over time...
