History is the study of the past as it is described in written documents. Events occurring before written record are considered prehistory. It is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the memory, discovery, collection, organization, presentation, and interpretation of information about these events.

The era/period of history is mainly include the Great Depression, the 'Roaring Twenties,' the Progressive Era, the Cold War Era, and numerous others. One of the ways history is commonly divided is into three separate periods: the Ancient Period (from 3600 BC - 500 AD), the Middle Ages (from 500 -1500), and the Modern Era (from 1500-present)

Answer: The thousands of years of history of civilization are divided into two eras by many historians worldwide.

Explanation:

Histories are stories. Order emerges from disarray. By identifying and categorising "facts," we attempt to understand the past. From these narratives, we expect to be able to explain the choices and actions that define our existence.

Two Era which is divided by Historians

The two phases of world history are as follows:

Prehistory is the era before the development of writing systems or written records.

History: The time period that begins with the invention of writing

However, there is a different distinction between prehistory and history in India. Since the writing of the oldest civilization in India, the Harappan civilization, has not yet been deciphered, this time period is referred to as "protohistory."
