What is homologous series? Explain with an example.

homologous series is the series consist of those organisms which having similar structure of there body parts but having different functions.
For example - forelimbs of human, forelimbs of horse , forelimbs of money , etc

Homologous series :-

It is a series which consists of organisms having same structure and origin of organs. but they'll differ in their functions .
For example : Forelimbs of mammals ( Vertebrates ) , Hearts of mammals etc..
