Answer:Early modern human (EMH) or anatomically modern human (AMH)[2] are terms used to distinguish Homo sapiens (the only extant human species) that are anatomically consistent with the range of phenotypes seen in contemporary humans from extinct archaic human species. This distinction is useful especially for times and regions where anatomically modern and archaic humans co-existed, for example, in Paleolithic Europe. Among the oldest known remains of Homo sapiens are from Omo-Kibish I, dating to about 196,000 years ago,[3] Florisbad, dating to 259,000 years ago, and Jebel Irhoud, dated about 300,000 years ago.

Humanity is all about being human and not inhuman. It means living with emotions and intelligence. What may not be widely known is, what is meant by living with emotions and intelligence. Let me share my views on the subject.

Humanity is all about feeling love and compassion for others, for other people, be they relatives or even people who are distant from our life. Its a feeling of love and compassion for everyone, irrespective of religion, caste and creed, irrespective of nationality, and even for our enemies. Matters like religion, caste, creed and nationality often separate people and do not unite them. According to me, the way they are practised and lived, they have become enemies of humanity. Humanity is living a noble and caring life, as it is written in the Bible “In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you” [Matthew 7:12] (Please note: I am not refferring to masochists, as neither masochists nor saddists can be said to be human). And, as Jesus had said, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” This sums up what humanity is, in a nutshell.

Humanity, however, is much more than that. The feeling of love and compassion is not just for human beings, but also for plants and animals (for the entire vegetable and animal kingdom) and also for the environment in which we live.

Humanity means radiating love and care for all life on this planet, and even for the planet in which we live. Only then we can say we belong to humanity. Unfortunately, many of us have alienated ourselves from humanity. We have become inhuman in many ways.

Explanation:

Last week I was travelling from Belgaum to Davanagere in a Government bus about five hour journey. The bus was full.

Conductor had already issued tickets and bus was about to leave, at the last minute one old man about 75–80 years got into the bus. When I offered the old man my seat, conductor looking at my gray hairs said, “it is ok sir, you sit there only. The grandfather (ajja) can sit in my seat” and offered his seat.

There were some senior citizens in the bus who had used the concession benefit showing their age proof. Unfortunately this elderly man had no such documents to show the proof of age. He looked to be poor, the concession in the fares would definitely make the difference.

Bus conductor thought for a while and out of humanity issued him concession ticket, though officially it was wrong issuing tickets without verifying the age proof. The elderly man was happy for being given the concession.

After a while unfortunately there was a ticket checking squad waiting and they checked the tickets. Elderly man showed his ticket when demanded but had no documentary proof though he looked aged by appearance. The squad asked him to pay the penalty for which he told them that he had no money.

Conductor came forward and informed the squad that he had issued the ticket though he had no id. The squad were upset with the conductor’s act and they threatened with disciplinary action. Conductor volunteered to pay the penalty. The crowd in the bus came in support of the conductor and told the squad that the person looks very senior by appearance and he shouldn’t be penalised, if at all penalty is to be levied, all passengers would contribute and pay.

The squad left the bus without levying penalty and appreciated the crowd for their humanitarian act. The elderly man could not hide his gratitude, tears started flowing from his eyes, he just folded his hands in namastey position and thanked everyone.

Everyone in the bus were emotional, appreciated the conductor and felt good about their actions.

In the modern world, humanity has been degraded into polished animals. The human life-form is an evolution of consciousness that allows the soul to understand the purpose of existence. A human who does not take advantage of that rare opportunity is basically an animal.

According to atheism, humans are animals. This means that a humanity without religion is reduced to animals. It sounds harsh, but the ramification of atheism is animalism. Humans share four basic urges with all other species - eating, sleeping, mating, and defending. So in that regard humans are no different from animals.

What differentiates humans from animals is the capacity for religion.

Hope it's useful for you..
