Hydroelectric is electricity produced by movement of water. It is usually made with dams that blocks the rivers to make a reservoir or collect water that is pumped there. When the water is released, the pressure behind the dam forces the water down pipes that lead to a turbine and electric power will produce.

Hydroelectricity is an established power generation technology with over 100 years of commercial operation. Hydroelectricity is produced when moving water rotates a tarbine shaft ; this movement is converted to electricity with an electrical generator.....i hope it helps you
