The hydrological cycle is also known as the water cycle which is the continuous cycle of water in our earth atmosphere.

The water from ponds, lakes gets evaporated by the heat of the sun and as vapour combines with the cloud. When the amount of water vapours gets filled in the clouds it pours down again on Earth surface in the form of rain. This continuous process is called hydrological cycle.
