Hypermetropia (also known as Long Sightedness) is a Refractive Error.

It is a condition in which the light passing through your eyes, does not focus on the retina but rather behind it. It messes with your vision and objects close to the eye are not focussed and appear blurry.

Fixes:

Using the suitable lens to fix your condition works. Lens are usually used to optimize the sight for people having myopia or hypermetropia.

So yeah, lenses can be used to rectify the vision but aren't the only solutions.

Surgeries are available but I don't think inundating information would be right and it doesn't fit in the context of temporarily rectifying the vision as well.
