• HYPERMETROPIA •
- Hypermetropia is also known as Far Sightteness.
- It's a defect of eyes in which a person is unable to see the nearby objects but the person can see the object kept at far distance.
- This defect occurs due to flatning of lenses or when the size of eyeball becomes small. Sometimes in old age this defect may be reported due to loss of flexibility of lens or ciliary muscles, such condition is known as Presbyopia.
- In these conditions the image forms behind the retina so, the person becomes unable to see.
- This defect can be cured by using convex lenses in spectacles.
