Hypermetropia is the defect of the eye because of which a person can’t see nearby objects clearly but can see far objects easily. The near point of the person recedes away.
It can be corrected by using a convex lens of appropriate focal length

Affected person can see far objects clearly but cannot see nearby objects clearly.

  • causes of hypermetropia :-
  1. focal length of the eye lens becomes too long.
  2. eye ball becomes too small.

  • It can be corrected by use of convex lens.
