Hypermetropia is nearsightedness. in this the person is not able to see the nearby object .it is it is Caused when the eyeball is too short and due to low converging power of eye lens. the correction of hypermetropia can be done by using the convex lens .

HypermetropiA is far sightedness.....he can see distant objects clearly but can't see near objects........the image will be falling beyond retina.....so he must use double convex lens to correct his defect
