Hello.. Here is Your Answer......

Hypertension (HTN or HT), also known as high blood pressure (HBP), is a long-term medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is persistently elevated.High blood pressure usually does not cause symptoms. Long-term high blood pressure, however, is a major risk factor for coronary artery disease, stroke, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, peripheral vascular disease, vision loss, chronic kidney disease.

The Causes For Hypertension Are

About 90–95% of cases are primary, defined as high blood pressure due to nonspecific lifestyle and genetic factors. Lifestyle factors that increase the risk include excess salt in the diet, excess body weight, smoking, and alcohol use.

Consequences Of High Blood Pressure

Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to stroke by damaging and weakening your brain's blood vessels, causing them to narrow, rupture or leak. High blood pressure can also cause blood clots to form in the arteries leading to your brain, blocking blood flow and potentially causing a stroke.

There are two types of hypertension primary hypertension and secondary hypertension.

Primary Hypertension: Primary hypertenison are caused by several factors including:

  1. Interaction between genes and environmental factors
  2. Aging serves as main factor for the elevation of blood pressure
  3. Factors like low birth weight, lack of breastfeeding, and maternal smoking causes hypertension.

Secondary Hypertension: Causes of secondary hypertension are as following:
