In the neutron induced fission fo uranium nucleus the reaction proceed in a chain reaction.thus enormous amount of heat is produced within a very short time.if this release energy is to be used for any welfare work such as production of electricity then the uncontrollable chain reaction has to controlled in nuclear reactors.
