So if you were to burn paper with one match stick it will burn rapidly, but if you were to burn a piece of wood it will not be enough to burn the wood because it has not reached its ignition temperature.
And so... ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which the substance catches fire.
therefore, A substance will not catch fire or burn unless it has reached its ignition temperature.
