The minimum temperature at which the substance starts burning. Alcohol and petrol are called inflammable substances as they have low ignition temperature. They burn very quickly.

The lowest temperature at which a substance catches fire is called ignition temperature. Substances like alcohol and petrol are called inflammable substances as the ignition temperature of them is very low and it easily catches fire.
