Definition :-

In such Imaginary and Hypothetical Situation " Were " is used instead of " Was " with First person pronoun. But for the other pronouns the agreement of verb with the subject never changes.

Example :-

• If I were a bird, I could fly in the sky$.$

• If he had four hands, he could do more work.
