The difference in longitude is around 30 degree.
Longitudinal extent has the following implications
It indicates that there is a time lag of about 2 hours between Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat . So when the sun rises in Arunachal it will still be dark in Gujarat ( but the standard time is same in both the places because the time is set according to the standard Meridian)
There are a lot of differences based on climate and vegetation
the distance between the two extreme ends (east and west) is around 2900 kM.
