what is importance of digestive juice in digestive system

Hi mate!!!

Digestive juices help in breaking down food. Ex is eat easy to eat a whole watermelon at a time or cut it into pieces and eat????

Same like that the food which chewed is like a water melon for our intestine and knives are these digestive juices
