 \Large \text{Impulsive\: Force :-}

✿ It is the force acting on a body for short interval of time .

✿ Ex : kicking a football

✿ Ex : Striking a cricket ball with a bat .

 \Huge \text{Note:-}

✿ Impulsive forces are variable forces beginning with zero, reaching maximum value and ending with zero in a short interval of time .

✿ In such cases, the magnitude of the forces cannot be measured but the product of the average force and the time for which the force acts on the body can be measured. This product of force and time is called as Impulse of the force .

✿ Impulse is a vector quantity .
