" Incomplete dominance is a form of Gene interaction in which both alleles of a gene at a locus are partially expressed, often resulting in an intermediate or different phenotype. It is also known as partial dominance.

For eg., in roses, the allele for red colour is dominant over the allele for white colour. But, the heterozygous flowers with both the alleles are pink in colour.

Each dihybrid plant produces 4 gamete types of equal frequency. in the offspring. F2 showed 4 different phenotypes: the round and yellow traits did not stay linked to each other. Ratios for each trait corresponds to what one would expect from monohybrid crosses.

Mostly each gene is made up of two alleles (Dominant allele or recessive allele). Normally the dominant allele will express itself by masking or hiding the effect of recessive allele. However in some case the dominant and recessive allele lack such relationship i.e. both alleles are expressed to same degree. This is called co-dominance. Eg: coat colour in cattle. wild type alleles are white and red. These white and red alleles when present in heterozygous condition, exhibit codominace to produce roan coloured cattles.

The phenotypic and genotypic ratio in f2 generation is 1:2:1 (red R: roan Rr: white rr) - Totally three different genotypes/phenotypes. It is important to note that in co-dominance, the phenotypic and genotypic ratio are the same.
