Indirect speech is a speech in which we tells someone's words, but don't someone's actual word.
Example:
1) Father: Where are you going, Priti?
Priti: I am going to study with my friends.
Father: Ok. You may go but take care yourself.
Priti: Thank you, Daddy.
Indirect speech:
Father asked Priti that where she was going. Priti replied that she was going to study with her friends. Father permitted her and said to take care herself. Priti thanked her father.
