Hii mate !

here is your answer....

it is inherent property of all bodies ,by virtue of which exist or opposes any change to its present state( of rest or of uniform motion). It varies directly as mass of the body.

Inertia of a body is of three types:

  1. Inertia of rest-) it is an ability of a body to change ,by itself its state of rest .this means a body at rest remains at rest and cannot start moving on its own.
  2. Inertia of motion-)It is inability of a body to change by itself, it state of motion i.e., a body in uniform motion can neither accelerate naurata on its own and come to rest.
  3. Inertia of direction-)It is inability of a body to change by itself its direction of motion.

Hope it helps ...... plzz mark as brainlist if it helped

Answer:

Inertia is the inherent property of a body to resist the change in its natural state of rest or motion .

There are three types of inertia :

Inertia of motion

Inertia of direction

Inertia of rest

Inertia of motion :

The  inherent property of a body to resist the change in its natural state of

motion is inertia of motion .

Ex : When the bus suddenly comes to a halt , we tend to fall forward . This

is due to inertia of motion .

Inertia of rest :

The  inherent property of a body to resist the change in its natural state of

rest is called as inertia of rest .

Ex : When a bus suddenly comes into motion , we tend to fall backward .

This is due to inertia of rest .

Inertia of direction :

The inherent property of a body to resist the change in its current direction

of motion .

Ex : When a bus suddenly takes a turn , we tend to move in the outward

direction . This is due to inertia of direction .

Hope it helped and please mark as brainliest:)
