HEY MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER
INERTIA IS THE TENDENCY OF AN OBJECT TO RESIST CHANGE OF ITS MOTION.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF INERTIA
INERTIA OF REST AND INERTIA OF MOTION
IN INERTIA OF MOTION
IF AN OBJECT IS IN MOTION IT RESSIST TO CONE FOR REST

hey this is your ans....
The property of of a body to resist any change in it's state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line is called inertia.
Basically Newton's first law is called Inertia.
A body have mainly three types of inertia...
1)Inertia of rest -. A body at rest does not change it's state of rest unless an external force is not applied.
2) inertia of direction- A body is anable to change it's direction of motion without applying an external force.
3) Inertia of motion-. A moving body continues to remain in motio, unless stopped by a certain force.
I hope it help you
thanx......
