inertia may be defined as the resistant of any physical object to any change in its state of motion. This includes changes to the objects speed , direction or state of rest. it is dangerous to jump from moving train because of inertia  when you are on a train you are moving horizontally at the same speed as that train relative to the ground whereas as the ground is not moving at all.so when you jump out of the train you are still moving at around 50 km per hour and then u stop when you hit the stationary ground causing you to fall n get hurt. impulse of body is product of time and force. impulse is 2 n-s

Inertia Of Motion:
 Inertia of Motion is defined as the inability of a body to change its state of motion by itself .

Its dangerous to jump from moving train because when inside the train , his complete body was in state of motion with train.
On jumping out of moving train as soon as his feet touch the ground, the lower part of the body comes to rest suddenly, while upper part remains in motion due to inertia of motion.
 This makes the person fall in the direction of motion of train.

Impulse =Force x time
Force=10N
time 2 sec
Impulse=10x2=20 N-s
