what is infinity in an electric potential? ♥

hey mate
When we define electric potential at a point we say that it is the work done in bringing a positive test charge from infinity to that point. Here we have taken infinity as the reference point which is a very very large distance where electric force due to the field is zero and thus the work done is zero.
