Inland drainage are waterways which do not drain into oceans. They rather drain into lakes or inland seas. But it needs not to be confused with inland water, which are waterbodies located within land boundaries; such as-ponds, lakes, streams, floodplains etc. Inland water can be located in coastal areas as well.
