Inland drainage is that drainage in which streams don't achieve a sea or ocean yet void their waters in a lake or an inland ocean.

Fundamental Characteristics of Inland Drainage:

  • In inland drainage streams join lakes or inland oceans.
  • They are nourished by blustery water.
  • Amid downpours they experience streak floods.
  •  Amid evaporate season they get dried.
  •  Under 10 percent of the inland drainage is shaped by the inland drainage of Rajasthan desert, Aksai jawline of Jammu and Kashmir.
