Insulators are the materials that do not allow the transfer or to slow the transfer of heat or electricity. Insulators can be made of many different types of materials but metals are generally not insulators.Examples of insulators are:
1.glass
2.plastic
3.rubber
4.wood
5.distilled water etc HOPE ITS HELPS

An electrical insulator is a material in which the electron does not flow freely or the atom of the insulator have tightly bound electrons whose internal electric charges do not flow freely; very little electric current will flow through it under the influence of an electric field.

Eg -: Glass,Wood, Rubber,etc..
