What is introduction of anti plastic campaign?

The main purpose of anti plastic campaign is to educate public about the adverse effects of plastic bags on the environment. When we go to grocery store, retail clothing store,books store,restaurant etc. Yes sometimes, plastic bags are convenient ,as they are water resistant and light and inexpensive compared to paper bags.
