                                                (I.P.M)  

I.P.M (Integrated Pest Management) is a technique to control pest by the use of natural methods.

This system is integrated with the disease resistance varieties, crop rotation, proper sanitation and minimum use of chemical pesticides.

⇒ Some step of I.P.M are :-

  • Resistant varieties Many resistant varieties are developed against different pathogens and pests.

  • Cultural practices Due to these practices, we can develop crop cycles of several years, mixed cropping, e.t.c.

  • Natural pesticides Natural pesticides are obtain from plants, animals and microbes, e.t.c.
