The organic compound having same molecular formula but different structure are known as isomers..... and isomeritian is possible only with hydrocarbon four or more carbon atom because only then we can have two or more different arrangement of carbon atom, no isomerisumism is possible in hydrocarbon containing one, two or three carbon atom per molecule
