The atoms of same element having same atomic number but different mass number are called isotopes.
Properties :
1. They have same physical properties
2. They are identical to each other.

Isotones - Isotones are the elements having same number of neutrons but different number of protons.For e.g. Cl37, Ar38.
The atoms having same number of Neutrons but diffrent mass number are called Isotones.
The atoms have different number of protons of atomic number.
The isotones belong to two of more different elements.
“(A–Z) is same” “A & Z are different”.
