Answer:The mughals used to give lands as jagirs. So during the later mughals enough land was not left to fulfil the needs. Therefore the mughals had to carve out a part of their land to pay for the jagir. Slowly and eventually lands of the emperor decreased. This was known as the jagirdari crisis.
