The SI unit of temperature is Kelvin and it is measured by the Kelvin scale. On Kelvin scale 1°C= 273 Kelvin. Lord William Thomas is the scientist who invented the Kelvin scale of temperature.

We can define Kelvin scale as follows:
On of the scale to measure temperature is called Kelvin scale which is used by the scientists mainly for research work. The Kelvin is denoted by "K".
