Extraordinary increase in in agricultural production of specially wheat and rice in the year of 1966-1967 who is known as green revolution

this was made possible due to the the adoption of new technique of h y v seeds more use of chemical fertilizers and irrigation facilities it got successful in the area of Punjab,Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh
