Hi,

le-chateliers principle:

If a system is at equilibrium is subjected to a change of any one of the factors such as concentration, pressure or temperature, the system adjusts itself in such a way as to reduce the effect of that change.

Le Chatelier's principle, also calledChatelier's principle or "The Equilibrium Law", can be used to predict the effect of a change in conditions on a chemical equilibrium. The principle is named after Henry Louis Le Chatelier and sometimes Karl Ferdinand Braun who discovered it independently.

hope it helps.......

If any constraint such as change in temperature , pressure and concentration is added to the system which is at equilibrium , the equilibrium shifts in such a way that in order to nullify the effect of the added constraint

this law is applicable only to the systems which are at equilibrium

if we add any constraint to the system in equilibrium , the equilibrium of the system will not be affected as it shifts in such a way that equilibrium of the system is maintained
