what is least count and zero error..?? how to calculate them..??

Least count is the smallest measurement that we can find in the vernier callipers.
Zero error is due to the mechanical errors.
Least count of vernier callipers =value of one main scale division/total number of divisions on the vernier scale.
Zero error =coinciding point * Least count.
