Answer:

Life is a journey, with known and unknown strangers!

A few days ago I wrote an answer on “Do we need friends in life?” in Quora.

It went viral and fetched a good number of upvotes and appreciation. In fact, my inbox flooded, but one message caught my attention out of those.

“Rakshith, we come to this life alone and go back alone. Enjoy the meantime with friends and family. Don't live alone and don't be regretful for being alone.”

That message was quite haunting and pushed me to think for hours about my living style.

Yes! I need to change myself and I need to mingle myself with family and friends. I should not be alone anymore.

“Geetha Govindam” a Telugu latest flick released a couple of days back, it's BGM and title track magnetised me to watch the movie.

Being a Kannadiga I do support all movies. I don't have any language barrier, because I had once dreamt of becoming a movie director.

Usually, I go for movies alone, but that message haunted me. So, I decided to watch with my friend.

So, I called my engineering college friend.

Me: Man are you free on Friday evening let's go for a movie?

My friend: I'm going out with my girlfriend.

Me: Okay no issues.

I called my 2nd friend

Me: Are you free Friday evening let's go for a movie?

My friend: I'm in Chennai for an interview.

Me: Okay no issues.

I was so desperate to watch the movie, so I even asked my Quora follower to meet over a movie.

Me: Hey! Are you free on Friday, so that we can go to a movie.

She: Which one?

Me: “Geetha Govindam” Telugu.

She: Oh I'm sorry. I watch only English movies.

Me: It's okay.

Finally, my colleague agreed to go to a movie. So, I booked 2 tickets, the show was at 7 pm.

I was waiting near the mall, but I received a call from him at 6:30 pm.

He: Rakshith, I'm really sorry I can't come to a movie. I got urgent work, so I'm going to my native.

Me: It's okay no problem.

I felt bad! How can life be so cruel?

“I have 2 tickets for a movie, which is running houseful everywhere, but no one is joining me.”

In the virtual world, I may have thousands of followers and hundreds of people asked me to be their friend, but in reality, I have no one!

There were 2 choices in front of me then,

Cancelling the movie plan and heading back home.

Watching the movie alone.

But, I chose the 3rd one.

I went to nearby the tea stall and asked,

Me: Bhai! Ek chai aur Ek king cigarette.

I was having tea and cigarette. Meanwhile, some uncle asked me for a lighter. He looks 30 years old.

I gave him the lighter and he said thanks.

He looked so worried in life, probably his personal stuff haunted him. I don't know why, but I interpreted him from his thoughts and asked.

Me: Brother, I have 2 tickets for a movie. I booked a ticket for my colleague, but he turned down at the last moment. Would you like to join me? You need not pay me anything.

He: Yeah! who will say no to free movie?

I took him for the movie. We watched and went back bidding bye. We don't know each other's name and we didn't bother to ask.

I literally enjoyed the movie, it's worth watching. I personally loved the BGM.

Life is so simple. Life is all about simplicity.

See, we make complications in life and love. Do you know why?

We try to stick to only one plan in life, that's fu.cking our life altogether.

If you don't get Sanjana in life, try for Sangeetha. Even also if you don't get Sangeetha to try for Sushmitha. Don't try to live in ditched one's memory and become typical “Devadas”.

Life becomes complicated when we stick to only one choice in life. If you don't get a medical seat, try for engineering.

Don't make life complicate and do remember that life has alternatives.

If plan A didn't work try plan Z

If Sangeeta ditches you, try for Sushmitha.

Never ever stick to only one person or one plan. Act instantly and enjoy the moment, never regret the moment you live later.

Life does have alternatives!

(Your little appreciation and honest feedback make me write even more. A person who feels appreciated will always do more than expected.)

Thanks for reading, Yours,

Life, hmm. Well, to say, it's a big question. You go left or you go right, well, that could change anything. More fun than a RPG game, you play your life and what you do you get it.
