Ques - What are Sources of Light ?

Ans - The sources of light refers to the objects that emit light. These may be natural or artificial.

The natural sources of light are provided by nature. The sun is the main and the brightest natural source of light. It is the most important source of light. Although it is about 150 million kilometres away from the Earth it gives light to a during the daytime.

The stars which we see during the night are also natural sources of light. As they are very far away they are not able to give sufficient light to the earth. Hence, we receive very little light from them.

The Firefly also known as Jugnu is also a natural source of light. The light received from it is very faint and we can't see much just by its light.

Some fish also emit light.

The artificial sources of light are the once made by mam, e.g. a bulb, a tube light, a torch, a candle, etc. at night we do not receive light from the main natural sources, i.e. the sun, do we need the artificial sources of light.
