Answer:

Hey ..!!!

The electric current type light that happens in the sky is known as lightning (also known as thunder).

Lightning can be dangerous coz. if it falls on anything , then it burns it....

Lightning conductor works on the principle that it has a copper plate buried deep inside the ground and and on the top of the tower there is an antenna ...

As the lightning crackles , the antenna attracts it towards itself and it goes directly into the ground as ground has zero potential...

In this way the lightning conductor protects us from lightning....

Hope this helps....☺️❤️❣️

Answer:

Lightning are electrical discharge which occurs when positively charged particles in the clouds come in contact with negatively charged particles. A lightning is dangerous with high electrical voltage.

A lightning conductor is a metal rod fixed at the highest part of a building and running down the wall of the building with the end buried deep into the earth. The electrical discharge of lightning is captured and carried safely by this rod into the ground and prevent the building from being damage.
