Hey your answer....
What is longitude?
Ans. Longitude, is a geographic coordinate that specifies the east–west position of a point on the Earth's surface. It is an angular measurement, usually expressed in degrees and denoted by the Greek letter lambda. Meridians connect points with the same longitude.
The rate of the time at which the sun traverses over certain degrees of longitudes is used to determine the local time of an area with respect to the time at the Prime Meridian (0°Longitude).
Hope this helps you!!!!

Answer:
Longitude and latitude are imaginary lines that circle the Earth. These lines are located on maps and measured in degrees. Each degree is divided into 60 minutes and each minute has 60 seconds.
