What is love? Does it brings happiness in a person's life or sadness

Love is a variety of different emotional and mental states, typically strongly and positively experienced, that ranges from deepest interpersonal affection to simple pleasure.
It brings happiness in a person's life. But love with a person who is not able to love can brings sadness

first of all LOVE has many meaning you got to mention the actual one.. well love is feeling a concept that keeps you alive and engrossed. like for example love with books makes you to read whatever get no matter how hard it is and regardless of situation amd time. As i use to hate physics mostly but you got to learn something when you grow older.. then i dont know what happened to me i started loving physics more than everything i use to speak physics i use to believe in physics i use to write fundamental papers and i use to publish it publicly (13) theories yet..
2. sadness it happiness hm .. well if you love something though it makes you feel sad or happy it is just a feeling which is again preference and time based . but if you regret it or change your references on that subject or thing then i would say you barely loved that thing
