lymph is a fluid connective tissue involved in transportation  lymph comprises of white blood cells mainly lymphocytes. . Lymph also contains the fluid from the intestine containing proteins and fats

it is also called tissue fluid

Lymph is similar to blood but RBCs are absent in lymph.
it is colourless and has less protiens than in blood plasma

Lymph is formed from the fluid which leaks from blood capillaries and goes to the intercellular spaces in the tissues.
This fluid is collected through lymph vessels and finally returns to the blood capillaries.
functions
Lymph also plays an important role in the immune system.
carries digested fat
drains excess fluid

The extracellular fluid which is present within the tissue cells and comprises of the all body fluids in both human beings and animals.

It can be divided into two types namely interstitial fluid and plasma. Both are similar due to the exchange of solute, water, and ions in between capillary walls of the issues.

The interstitial fluid has water-soluble substance that flows between the cells of the tissue and is surrounded by the body's tissues and cells.

Extra interstitial fluid drained out through major veins and collected into the lymph. The fluid is called lymph.

Lymph is a colorless liquid which circulates all over the lymphatic system. And finally, it enters into the lymph nodes through the lymph vessels.

Lymph used for transportation of nutrients to the cell, removing metabolic wastes from the cell and provides intercellular communication in between the cells.
