Black soil is rich in Lime, Magnesium carbonate, organic matter, alumina, Potash, Phosphoric matter. It has self airation property. It is insitu soil.
As said by my friend, red soil is rich only in potash. It is red in colour due to presence of iron oxide. This soil is unfit for cultivation but wheat can be cultivated by adding fertilizers.
