In earth science, erosion is the action of surface processes that removes soil, rock, or dissolved material from one location on the Earth's crust, and then transport it away to another location

dimpy215: Marine erosion is just erosion coming from the sea. As the waves crash into a cliff, they take off tiny pieces of the rock, and over millions of years can wear away entire faces of rock.

Depending on how the waves are hitting the cliff, different features can be made. Your textbook should have a bunch of examples, but a few are caves, cliffs, and beaches

Marine Erosion

Marine erosion refers to the process and action in the sea due to the waves which hit the rocks and result in the breakup of the soil, rocks, and other forms of dissolved material and their movement from one location to the other take place due to the waves.

The process of erosion that takes place in the sea is referred to as marine erosion. The movement of the waves, and when they hit against the rocks leads to the breaking of the rocks and stones into small pieces. Over the years these erode further with the continuous movement of the waves and are transported to different places.
