●【MATTER】Physical substance in general, as distinct from mind and spirit; (in physics) that which occupies space and possesses rest mass, especially as distinct from energy.

●【MASS】Mass is both a property of a physical body and a measure of its resistance to acceleration when a net force is applied. The object's mass also determines the strength of its gravitational attraction to other bodies. The basic SI unit of mass is the kilogram.

●【PARTICLES】In the physical sciences, a particle is a small localized object to which can be ascribed several physical or chemical properties such as volume, density or mass. The term 'particle' is rather general in meaning, and is refined as needed by various scientific fields.
