When we are representing area of an object, any place ,etc. ; we use unit squared ( m², km², etc.)

For example :-

Length of area "A" = 5 km

Breadth of area "A" = 6 km

∴ area of "A" = Length × Breadth ( area of rectangle)

= 5 km × 6 km

= 30 × (km × km)

= 30km²

Note: 1Km² = 10,00,000m²
