Answer:
The coelom is a body cavity found in metazoans (animals that develop from an embryo with three tissue layers: ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm). ... Organisms that possess a true coelom are called (true) coelomates. True coelomates are often grouped into two categories: protostomes and deuterostomes.

Heya!
- Coelom is actually the body cavity between the body wall and gut wall, lined by mesoderm.
- Animals which do not possess coelom are aceolomates. (Platyhelminthes)
- In Aschelminthes, the body cavity (coelom) is not lined by mesoderm but present as scattered pouches. They are Pseudocoelomates.
- Animals which possess coelom are Coelomates. (Annelids to Chordates)
*Coelomates are of two types.
- Schizocoelomates : Schizocoel is formed by splitting of mesodermal mass. (Annelids, Arthropods, Molluscs)
- Enterocoelomates : Enterocoelom is formed by fusion of gut pouches during embryonic stage. (Echinodermata, Hemichordata, Chordata Phyla)
Also, coelomates can be grouped into protostomes and deuterostomes...
