Diffusion of gases spread through a porous barrier at a rate of speed in direct proportion to the weight of the molecule
ex. A teabag placed in a cup of hot water will diffuse in water. Placing food colouring in a liquid will diffuse into water similarly perfume bottle left open and fragrance diffuse into room by evaporation..

diifusion - mixing of different particles among each other so that they can be mixed uniformly is called diffusion....
example - :) when u will put potassium permagnate in the water gradually the crystals of potassium permagnate will spread in the water and the water will change into purple colour!! it shows that particles of water and potassium permagnate mixed on their own!! and formed a deep purple colour!!
