Active voice is when the sentence states a person doing certain work,

For example: "Sara plucks flowers."

And passive voice is when the sentence states a work being done by a person,

For example: "Flowers are plucked by Sara."

Direct voice is when it is in first person,

For example: "I love honey", said Ian.

Indirect voice is in second person, that is when one person is telling what another person had said,

For example: Ian said that he loves honey.

In active voice the subject and verb relationship is straight forward the subject is a doer

Passive voice the subject of the sentence is not a doer

In writing or speech narration is the process of recounting a sequence of event, real or imagined.
